Launch
The Suzuki S-Presso had no formal live launch due to the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) put into place by the Philippine government during March and April of 2020. The vehicle was released by the Japanese brand quietly but with the help of the media. The S-Presso comes only available in one variant and one transmission option. It comes with a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated engine that it shares with its Celerio brother. When it first launched, the S-Presso can only be had with a five-speed manual transmission until April 15, 2023, when Suzuki Philippines officially brought the Auto Gear Shift version of the S-Presso to the Philippines.
The Suzuki S-Presso slots directly under its stablemate the Celerio and now takes the spot as the most affordable vehicle in the Suzuki Philippines lineup. It replaces the Alto in that respect. The S-Presso is a small city runabout vehicle that offers seating for five in a small form factor with a thrifty engine idea for a city vehicle. In November of 2021, Suzuki Philippines would add a special edition version of the S-presso to its lineup giving the new variant a refreshed interior along with several upgrades to its exterior.

Driving Performance
The Suzuki S-Presso features a lightweight frame, making it easy to drive, even with a manual transmission. The clutch pedal is effortless to operate, ensuring a smooth start. While the added ground clearance may result in some body roll during cornering and the NVH insulation could be better (leading to noticeable highway noise), the S-Presso excels in urban environments. Its compact size and high ground clearance allow for stellar handling, making it well-suited for navigating city streets and managing potholes with ease.
Technology Features
The Suzuki S-Presso is equipped with essential technology to enhance your driving experience. It features a 7-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth and AUX connectivity, along with a USB port for convenient charging. Manual climate controls provide ease of use, and the rear parking assist system utilizes ultrasonic sensors on the rear bumper for added convenience when maneuvering in tight spaces.
Exterior
The Suzuki S-Presso showcases a boxy, hatchback design with four doors and a rear hatch, resembling a hatchback on stilts due to its taller ride height. It features stylish black plastic lower bumpers at both the front and rear, complemented by halogen lamps for enhanced visibility. The S-Presso rides on 14-inch wheels, giving it a robust and distinctive appearance in its segment.
Interior
The Suzuki S-Presso on the interior features a black-themed interior with plastic accents found all around the cabin. Its seats come in black fabric material with the center part of each seat coming in with a red cross-stitched pattern adding a bit of sportiness to the interior. Setting it apart from the rest of the vehicles in the segment is a center-mounted orange gauge cluster. While it may take some time to get used tot he odd confirmation the gauges are placed well within the driver's line of sight.
Safety
The Suzuki S-Presso prioritizes safety with its HEARTECT platform, designed to protect the cabin during a collision by effectively absorbing and dispersing crash energy. Constructed from tensile steel, the platform ensures both lightness and robust safety performance. Additionally, the S-Presso is equipped with dual airbags for the driver and front passenger, ABS, and 3-point seatbelts for all occupants, providing comprehensive protection for everyone on board.
